Give Credit where Credit is due!!

Writing is essential for school as well as writing papers and researching topics. It is important that we cite our papers so that the writing is getting his proper credibility. If we do not reference our papers than we are plagerising. Plagerism is a fancy term for stealing. If you get caught stealing your can get kicked out of school. It is very important that were careful.

I enjoy being an online student. The flexibility is amazing especially when you spend 13 hours a day on post! But I loved it most being in Afghanistan. I got to serve my country and still make time for myself and my future. I didnt have to necessarily put a whole year of my life on hold.

Being apart of the Blog-O-Sphere is great because it gives you the opportunity to meet new people and read on more topics than you can imagine. Its a good feeling knowing that your not the only one out there that may believe in a certain thing. You can always find someone to relate to.

I like you am a full time Soldier and full time student, and a whole lot of other full time things. The online University setting is a perfect place to allow our lives to continue to grow, expand, and graduate.

Your title "Give credit where credit is due" (Sempeck, 2010), is perfect. Most people do not realize how easy it is forget to give credit to those who have written a thought or idea prior to what we are currently thinking. There is always going to be someone before us that has thought of that great new idea.

... and I have to say that when beginning to write a book and character outline, be sure to have completed numerous hours of research to ensure that no one else hasn't already written about it.

    Awesome job!

  2. Hi MrsSempeck,

First of all Thank You for serving our country! I agree with you, avoiding plagiarism is very important as a writer. Writing is a required skill for almost every job and task in the world. I also believe that writing is good for the soul. Though, I have gotten away from it in the last few years due to a busy schedule with work, and family. I used to keep a very detailed journal sporadically throughout my childhood. Even though I only did it sporadically it still felt wonderful to me, having a release.

I really am happy to have the luxury of going to school online, for the flexibility and also the ability to write again. Even though it is through assignments, I am still developing my thoughts and ideas into a cohesive paper that expresses what I feel or have learned in my own words. It's great.
